A Mwldan Production

Six extraordinary musical talents from Wales and England join together for a unique and special collaboration that will take their individual genius to the next collective level.

ALAW, a “Welsh supergroup” (Songlines) comprise guitarist/composer Dylan Fowler, singer and multi-instrumentalist Nia Lynn and fiddle player/composer Patrick Rimes. They celebrate the traditional music of Wales with an infectious passion, combining powerful songwriting with original tunes.

VRï, comprising Aneirin Jones (fiddle), Jordan Price Williams (cello) and Patrick Rimes (fiddle, harmonium), have twice won Best Album at the Wales Folk Awards for their first two releases, and combine the beauty of classical strings with the hedonism of a pub session, all bound with powerful vocal harmonies.

Hannah James is a spellbindingly innovative musician, singer and dancer described as “a true original” (The Guardian). Renowned as one of the best accordionists on the British folk scene, her musicianship extends far beyond the tradition, from her vocal trio Lady Maisery to her breathtaking one-woman show JigDoll.

Following a period of creation of new collaborative material, the combined talents of ALAW, VRï and Hannah James will take to the road to present the exciting results of their work together.
