In celebration of the Bangor University Science Festival the Symphony Orchestra will perform the famous ‘Planets Suite’ – Gustav Holst. The seven-movement work explores the moods and characters of the seven planets both in their astronomical character and imposed mythology through human imagination. Now Pluto has been relegated to the category of a Dwarf Planet the suite is once again a complete view of the Planets of the Solar System as viewed from Earth.
