A Creative Operation

An exhibition by the Coleg Menai Art Foundation Crew responding to the historical ‘Operation Julie’, Wales' biggest ever undercover drugs operation.

The Foundation course has worked with Pontio a number of times over the years, and this project has involved four groups designing artworks for different public spaces in the building. The inspiration has been Theatr na nÓg's production of 'Operation Julie', which will be performed in Pontio in May 2024.

As research for the project, the students listened to the BBC podcast 'Acid Dream: The Great LSD Plot' narrated by Rhys Ifans with music by Gruff Rhys.
