Matilda the Musical' is about a brilliant but neglected young girl named Matilda Wormwood who uses her sharp mind, vivid imagination, and new-found magical abilities to stand up to her cruel parents and the tyrannical headmistress, Miss Trunchbull. Inspired by Roald Dahl's book, the show follows her as she navigates her oppressive school, finds a loving teacher in Miss Honey, and ultimately takes a stand to change the destiny of herself and others.
